Most of new production operators kick-start their journey in the Smelter "Potroom", although we may have other production positions available. What You'll Do: While the exact duties may vary based on the area hired into, you may be expected to: Utilize heavy equipment for manufacturing and shipping our products. Handle heavy machinery, including forklifts and cranes, ensuring precision and safety in all operations. Execute specialized tasks with a keen eye for quality and strict adherence to safety guidelines. What Qualifies You: High School diploma or GED is required. Must be able to perform physically demanding work activities under high temperature conditions. Candidates must successfully pass a skills aptitude, physical, drug test and background check. Must be at least 18 years of age Additional Information on Work Hours and Environment: You must be willing and able to work rotating shifts and continuous schedules. Mandatory overtime may also be required. Typical work environment involves primarily indoor work with exposure to hot and cold weather and extreme non-weather related heat is frequent.
